Robot-Assisted Training for Primary Care: How can robots help train doctors in medical examinations?

The workshop aims to bring together medical and robotics/engineering communities to identify future opportunities to develop robotic technologies in medical examination training.

We are inviting medical professionals from different parts of the world to record 10 minutes of reflections on the following questions by 31st of July 2020:

  1. Brief introduction of yourself (approx. 2mins)
  2. What challenges did you face when you were a trainee physician or as a trainer (approx. 4mins)?
  3. What kind of training technology support do you use at present (approx. 2mins)?
  4. What do you aspire to have (i.e. a wishlist) in the future for training (approx. 2mins)?

The videos will be posted in the workshop website for viewing and panel discussions prior and after the workshop on 25 October 2020.

We are happy to assist with the video recording via video conference calls (such as Zoom or Skype), as well as in video editing.

Please send an email to Dr. Thrishantha Nanayakkara: expressing your interest to submit a video to RoboPat 2020 workshop. Then we will send you guidelines to upload your video.
